translate5: GALA webinar on June 5 & new features

MittagQI - Quality Informatics
Dear Visitor,

On June 5, Marc Mittag is introducing Proofreading and Post-Editing with translate5 and MQM at a GALA webinar.

Multidimensional Quality Metrics (MQM) was developed by "Deutsches Forschungszentrum für künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) [German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence] in 2013. With MQM, translation quality can be objectively measured for the first time. Regardless whether the translation was done by man or machine.

Basic Workflow

The translate5 basic workflow meets the everyday experience of the majority of translation service providers with the workflow step "Editing" and the optional workflow step "Checking by the translator".

Whenever a workflow step is finished, the project manager and the next processor will have been already informed via e-mail about all amended segments with the most important segment properties! As soon as the next processor opens his task, the preset filtering of the segments will display only the segments processed in the previous workflow step!

Task Overview

The task overview forms the heart of translate5 - all workflow activities (processing task, opening for viewing, completing, concluding, exporting etc) can be performed from it as well as all workflow statuses can be read. It can be filtered according to task properties.
